Data Processing Addendum

Last updated June 15, 2026

Where ThriveRent processes personal data on behalf of a customer (for example, resident and billing data), that processing is governed by a Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) that supplements our Terms of Service.

What the DPA covers

  • The roles of the parties (customer as controller, ThriveRent as processor);
  • The subject matter, duration, nature, and purpose of processing;
  • Confidentiality, security measures, and breach-notification commitments;
  • Use of subprocessors (see Subprocessors); and
  • Assistance with data-subject requests and deletion or return of data on termination.

Requesting a signed DPA

A current DPA is available to customers on request. To receive a copy for review or signature, reach out through the Help Centeror your account contact, and we’ll send the latest version.

This page summarizes our DPA process; the executed DPA is the controlling document.
